Enable Equip brings used care and mobility equipment back to life.
We understand that buying equipment such as rise and recliner chairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers or beds can be expensive, yet there plenty of these items in the community that are unused and have plenty of life left in them.
The Enable Equipment Hub offers affordable access to good-quality, repurposed care and mobility equipment. It exists to ease the financial and practical burden of finding the right equipment when you need it most.

Do you have any good quality mobility equipment that’s no longer needed? Donating it to the Equipment Hub helps others in the community while reducing waste.
Donated items can be dropped off during our opening hours, or we can arrange collection, just get in touch to discuss. Please don’t leave items outside when we’re closed.

1. Non-Professional Advice
Enable Jersey is a charity shop and not a medical professional or healthcare provider. The medical equipment available at our shop is provided “as is” and is intended for general use only. We do not provide professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is essential to consult a qualified healthcare professional for any specific medical concerns or needs.
2. Equipment Condition:
We strive to ensure that all medical equipment sold at our shop is in good condition. However, we cannot guarantee the or suitability of the equipment for any specific purpose or individual. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect
the equipment and assess its suitability for your needs before purchase.
3. Consultation with Healthcare Professional:
Before using any medical equipment purchased from Enable Jersey, we strongly advise consulting with a qualified healthcare professional. They can provide guidance on proper usage, maintenance, and any potential risks associated with the equipment.
4. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law Enable Jersey and its affiliates, directors, employees, volunteers, or agents shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use the medical equipment sold at our shop. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
5. Proper Use and Indemnification:
By purchasing and using medical equipment from Enable Jersey, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Lifting equipment will require servicing every six months, companies that offer testing are Technicare / Mercury Medical. You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless Enable Jersey and its affiliates, directors, employees, volunteers, or agents from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from your use or misuse of the equipment or lack of servicing.
6. Return Policy:
Due to the nature of the products we sell and for the safety and hygiene of our customers, all sales are final. Returns are not accepted unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In such cases, please contact our customer service for further assistance.
