A lack of suitable transport can prevent disabled islanders from accessing the community.

Our community car can accommodate two wheelchairs and, for a small donation, is available to Jersey residents, visitors and organisations.

We also have a small number of minibuses that we use for transporting our members to and from events. If you would like to use these for your own organisation, please look at our Vehicle Driving Policy below and contact us to talk about your needs.

Using our Community Vehicles

The community car – a Peugeot Teepee – is kept on the Lower Floor of Sand Street car park and its use is managed by the lovely team at Shopmobility Jersey.

If you would like to use our community car, please read our Vehicle Driving Policy, fill out our Driver Declaration and contact Shopmobility Jersey.

Our minibuses are parked near our office at Warwick Farm on La Grande Route de Saint Jean (just past Motor Mall.) Please contact us if you’d like to discuss using these.
